1) About Microsoft’s First League
Microsoft’s First League is a closed fan Program managed directly by Microsoft in the following countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Serbia, Greece and Romania. Program is not open for users outside the listed countries. Users can register as “Microsoft Fan” and must log in through various authentication provides such as Facebook, Google or Microsoft. The authenticated user is redirected to a survey. The users explicitly give their opt-in to be contacted by Microsoft and to take part in an assessment. The e-mail addresses will be used for transactional purposes only, about the Microsoft Fan Marketing Program. In each country, Microsoft will evaluate the submitted questionnaires and invite a selected number of applicants to optional Skype interview and decide which fans will be accepted into the Fan Program. Users will get notified about their acceptance/rejection via email or phone.
The data retention time for all users that are not accepted to the Program is 30 days after completion of the assessment phase.
Users that have been accepted to the program can log into the non-public area of the Fan Marketing platform via the Facebook login, Google or Microsoft account they used earlier for registration. Users can report on their Program-related activities (relevant blog posts, tweets, video uploads, sharing of 3rd party content, etc.) and can view these on their own dashboard. They can view all activities of all fans in their market, however they can only manage their own activities. These activities include posting an article, product review or video or sharing 3rd party content on their Social channels within the Program. These activities happen outside of our platform, but are reported by the users within our Fan Marketing platform. In addition, there is a Device Loan Program available to the fans within the non-public section of the platform. A special contract for testing devices will be necessary and will be provided upon request of a device.
If a user wants to leave the Program, he or she should notify the Community Manager of his or her home country. The Community Manager will ensure that all data relating to that user within the Fan Marketing platform is deleted within 30 days. However, Microsoft does not have any influence on data shared or content posted in that closed group by the user on Facebook or other social media channels.
